I have been involved in business with Alticor for years, back when it was Amway, and I transitioned over to Quixtar. I have seen a lot of changes!. When my wife and I interview people to join our business team, we give them more information than they actually seem to want, and we encourage them to come out and meet other business owners, who may or may not be on our team, so that they can make an informed decision. We don't rush them to sign up, nor do we want them to make a rash decision. We're looking for people who want to own their own business, and willing to work. We tell everyone that it is not get rich quick! It does involve hard work, because you are dealing with people, but we believe the effort is worth it. I disagree with the FTC proposal. 1) I certainly don't believe that prospects should have to wait 7 days before signing up. Quixtar has a 12 month satisfaction guaranteed buyback. Not only that, but momentum to grow in this business would be hindered by a waiting period. 2) I also disagree with providing references for the prospects. They may know others on that list, and decide to join them in business instead. I also feel our privacy would be invaded if our name/number was given out to others. My wife works in medicine, and our number is unlisted for a reason. We make every effort to meet the prospects many times before a decision is ever made. The solution is to eliminate the requirement to provide 10 references. 3) I don't think it's necessary to give out a list of all lawsuits against Quixtar, because people will find out things by listening to the news and reading the internet. (Of course those references are rarely the truth). I think it would be negative to know all of those lawsuits, and the solution is to eliminate the requirement to disclose past litigation. 4) Lastly, I don't think that our income from Quixtar is anyone's business. I don't discuss my job income with others, or ask the prospects how much money that they make at their job. I understand that we have to show substantiating evidence. Everyone's income is dependent on how hard you are willing to work. Quixtar is an awesome opportunity for those who are looking for more financial independence and developing long lasting friendships!
