Comments:I have been an IBO since November 1986 and have met all the goals that I have put the correct amount of effort to meet. I reached the Silver and Gold Producer levels in 1998 and am looking to achieve the Platinum level in 2007. I have been able to integrate the Quixtar Business into my life and it has given me many benifits outside of the money. The friendships and mentoring have been invaluable to me and my family. The character building and moral values have made me a much better asset to society. No matter how much money I make with the business I can never put a value on how much the serendipities of the business have given me. When I was registered it was explained to me what I would need to do to achieve the levels in Quixtar. I was given information the SA-4400 that spelled out the plan as it was presented. I was able to do more with less people then was presented so they actually showed me more work then was required. I was told there were no guarantees that the business would succeed but I saw others who had succeeded in Quixtar and new that if they could, I could also. When I sponsor people I give them the same information and tell them it is not a get rich quick scheme, that there are no guarantees, and it takes effort to build this business. The plan is presented in a professional environment and no promises are made. The registration fee plus optional product pack is around 160 dollars plus tax to the State that they reside in. All of the money is refundable up to 6 months after registration by writing a letter to Quixtar. I believe the 7 day waiting period is not necessary and will harm people who want to get their business started. In the beginning peoples belief is very fragile and we work with them to help them show the business to new prospects within their sphere of influence. Since there are many people who have their own uninformed opinions of the Quixtar business which have no merit or real research the waiting period could affect the prospect in a negative fashion. This in turn would negatively affect the way my business profits as it would limit the growth potential. While they are excited they want to talk to many people and a seven day waiting period would put them on hold and would cause them to loose the mometum they could create. Having to provide references of other IBO's would be like sharing trade secrets for patents for companies. Prospects are the raw material in our business and giving those names to other IBO's could cause teritorial disputes as to who the prospects would work with. It also could cause confusion and concerns that would not be to the best benifit of the prospect. I believe it would also violate my privacy as a business owner and cause undo hardship to the building of my business. There already is a mechanism in place for them to meet other IBO's assocated with my business who can give them their expereinces. At the business seminars, and also at smaller gatherings prospects can speak to others who have succeeded. A litigation list would be an undo hardship. I do not have a complete legal team and this would make an impossible time commitment for me and my business. Anyone can file a lawsuit anywhere and keeping track would be an ardous task that not even the Federal Government could keep track of. I always give information, the SA-4400 showing the average monthly gross income from Quxtar. Their are people who make more or less but to have to disclose all of those would take a team of CPA'a and would adversly affect my business take away all my profits. I do not disclose the amount of money I make on a yearly basis from Quixtar. I have IBO's in my business who have exceeded my income on a much larger scale. To tell a prospect how much or how little I make would not give them any valuable information to help them with their decision. An FTC requirement would be inappropriate because it would not give any representation of their capabilities..
