As an independent business owner, powered by Quixtar, I highly appreciate your concern for individuals looking into owning a home based business. Moreover, circumventing scams and illegal pyramids should be top priority in a free interprise system. However, there are some proposed, tentative methods being discussed that would hamper the growth of many organizations that are being built with integrity and accountability. First, there is a proposed waiting period of seven days before a new prospect could register, open, and operate their own business. I feel this is not needed in a system in which the prospect has a one year full refund money back gaurantee. If the person felt deceived in any way, the money is returned; every cent! Second, the proposal to give out references of 10 or more to prospective business owners infringes upon the privacy rights of those whose names are given. It also slows down the growth of the potential sponsor and gives the opportunity of the references to attempt sponsoring the prospect business owners as well. What's fair about that? This proposal should be eliminated. Third, giving of a list of all lawsuits involving Quixtar for the past 10 years where the plantiff alleged fraud - whether or not the accusation was true would open up Quixtar and other true business opportunities to false accusations. Besides, frauds posing as legitimate business opportunities would just ignore this ruling. Please get rid of this proposal to disclose past litigation. In closing, I truly thank you for attempting to weed out fradulent scams. They hurt the reputation of true opportunities such as Quixtar represents. Upon being introduced to this opportunity I was told that this was not something for nothing or a get rich quick scheme. There is no success without hard work! I've been impowered by Quixtar less than a year; and I absolutely love it! Thank you in advance for these considerations.
