The seven day waiting period is unfair to a person who wants to start a business today. Would you impose this waiting period on someone who wants to buy a McDonalds franchise? Having to pass out references is an imposition. In our business, people have the opportunity to come and meet other business owners face to face and ask any questions they want. Having to reveal business owners income is an invasion of privacy. How much money to you make a year working for the government? Do your neighbors know your G level? Lets put your income on the front page of the New York Times.
