Comments:
The Business Opportunity Bill that is being proposed would greatly affect, in a very negative way, the exciting, easy, enjoyable and entertaining manner in which we share our great business opportunity with others. The business opportunity wth PartyLite requires a prospective Consultant to fill out and sign an agreement form, not a contract. Our "no risk" direct selling opportunity does not lock one into a contract. As part of the agreement to obtain a PartyLite Starter Kit, which can be done at no cost to them, it merely asks the prospective Consultant to agree to follow certain proven guidelines to help ensure a successful start to their business. We enthusiastically encourage a prospective Consultant to get more information by attending our monthly meetings, including but not limited to our Regional and Opportunity Events and Unit Workshops. PartyLite offers a lot of support in so many ways. We are all in business for ourselves, but not by ourselves. I am against the Bill, unless it can be modified in such a way that it would not affect legitimate businesses like ours. Thank you!
