I understand the thinking behind some of the options that are being looked at, but can't say I agree with most of them. Any and all types of networking businesses are a unique "opportunity" for the "average" person to get extraordinary results in life based on their personal work ethic, dedication, determination, and consistency. It's a lot different from the typical job in which the boss determines how much each individual is worth. I believe by implementing most of the suggestions at hand, this business could become harder to get involved in for those that want more out of life. By giving a new prospect a list of names of other IBO's, or by disclosing their personal income, they would be basing their decision to become involved on someone else's discipline, belief, experience, and performance. We all know everyone has different levels of all the above traits. We do encourage the new prospect to attend a weekly meeting before they get involved to not only get more information, but to meet other IBOs. This business is better than any job I have ever had due to the fact that I am responsible for deciding how much I want to make by how hard I want to work. In a job, they determine how much I am worth and when or if I am ever eligible for a raise, not based on performance, but based on bottom line. Why would the FTC want to put more regulations on this business than there are on a job? I know I was NEVER told how much my boss or the person responsible for bringing me on board made nor was I given a list of other associates to call to get their perspective on the company and the opportunities available. This business is a great opportunity for someone to take advantage of if they are willing to work for it. Natasha Pharis
