I have been a licensed Amway/Quixtar Independant Business Owner sinced 1990. I was presented with an FTC approved business prospectus when I was recruited and to my knowlege every person (in the thousands) who has seen our business plan has been offered a copy of same. No one has ever been charged more than the minimum fee to register, of which every cent was guaranteed to be refunded if the prospect was not 100% satisfied. Every person who registered in our business and has earned a bonus was paid promptly and in the exact amount stated in the business plan. None of the proposed new rules will prevent unethical business owners from misrepresenting our business or protect prospects from getting involved with scams. In fact they seem to provide little additional protection beyond the current rules. These new rules will ONLY make it more difficult for ethical, law abiding business owners to help people develop businesses. Please do punish us for the misdeeds of others.
