Hello- My name is Paul Seegert. My wife Melanie and I have been building the Quixtar business since February 2002. We are 26 and 27 years old now and are more excited now than when we got started. We have been able to pay off debts and replace our corporate incomes. Due to our business with Quixtar, we are now totally financially independent. We love building this business and have a couple of concerns about the proposed rule changes: 1- a 7 day waiting period would prevent excited prospects from seeing some of the fast results that we saw. Melanie and I were able to see profit from our first business month because we started right away. Additionally, our business offers a full money back policy for anyone not satisfied with the business. If it is money back guaranteed, why would it be necessary to have a waiting period? The money back policy already makes the business "risk-free" 2- a list of contact information of those already in business would also have some potential negative affects... I am not interested in the loss of privacy that would cause, I would also be concerned that it might lead to pirating of others' prospects. Lastly, We host a weekly seminar in San Antonio for ths purpose. Interested prospects have the opportunity to come and see our local team and get to know them and ask them about their experiences. This is even more revealing than a phone call. 3- litigation information. I am concerned that if we are required to provide a list of all litigation over the last 10 years that this would hurt my ability to build my business. I own my own business with supply from quixtar. Others do also. I cannot control how they conduct themselves and would hate to be penalized for others' unprofessional conduct. Do realtors have to disclose all of the misconduct of other realtors to potential clients? 4- personal evidence for income claims seems to be a big loss of privacy. While our income from this business opportunity is significant, I want people to make their decision based on the merits of the business and what is possible. We currently share with all prospects the average gross monthly income of all ibo's and a business plan that has been approved for us by the FTC. Thanks for your consideration! I am confident that reasonable conclustions will be drawn and I appreciated the fairness of this process! Our involvement in this business has really made the dream of business ownership and financial independence possible for us!
