I wanted to respond to this situation since I am so happy to have a Business Opportunity like the one that Quixtar represents. About 2 yrs ago I was working w/ a friend of mine and she said to me one day that she wanted me to meet Dave. So I met with Dave and it was relaxing and he asked me what I wanted and since I know what I want now and in the future @ the end of the meeting they handed me some Educational Material which consisted of a Book and CD set. I did listen to the CD's the next morning and knew that the information was right. We were the first ones in NJ a part of Teambuilders to see this opportunity and run with it. If you were to put a law into effect that would make us give 10 references I would of never had this opportunity and that wouldn't be fair. Sometimes you are the pioneer. We have meetings that we can choose to attend to learn more and have the support to build a successful business. I know this is an opportunity w/ no guarantees and it's not a get rich quick idea. You do have to work at it and it will take time. We all learn at different speeds. I have learned so much about myself and others that I know if it wasn't for this System and Team I wouldn't be where I am today. We are growing and doing great. It's a fun journey. We are always honest w/ anyone that we speak to about this opportunity. They can ask any questions that they want and we have all done a lot of the homework on providing the answers. I know that any of the lawsuits that are against Alticor/Amway/ Quixtar are mainly about the Tool Money not the Corporation. Most of the work I have done it's bitter ex IBO's that quit that have negative things to say. I think the two things not at all needed is to show the lawsuits & the 10 references. The reasons that the income showing isn't right is because you can sponsor someone in the business and they can make more money than me and we do let them know that. They may learn faster and make more and that's okay. It does't matter what I make it's what you can make. The best thing for new IBO's to understand is the business opportunity, educational system available if you want to really learn because how can you learn a business w/o training. Teambuilders are the greatest people ever I am so happy to be apart of the Ledbetters & their Team!!! It's a Gift from God! We are doing Great & we don't have these laws impacting us and we don't need them now. We always introduce the new teammate to the other teammates (IBOs) We do this as a Team not an Individual we all have different strengths and it comes together on the Team. I am happy for this opportunity the last two yrs and would like everything to stay the way it is there is no need to change. I did about 6 yrs ago by a Medical Billing Software and it was a scam and lost $500 because of it. It did have a reference also in the Better Homes & Gardens and of course they said it was for real. Well it wasn't. I did loose money on scams in the back of the magazines so those are the ones that I would go after. They are lies and take your money.
