Comments:
We have been independent business owners for 7 years. We have not reached any specific goals, as we have not worked the business, as we should have been doing. If forced to show our financials to our prospects, it may discourage them and make them feel the business does not work. We know that the reason we have not advanced has nothing to do with our support team or Quixtar but our lack of activity. We were given and are giving information as to what the realistic financial expectations at different levels would be. We were told up front and tell other up front that this is not a get rich scheme and it will take work. Also, when people interview for a job, they do not require the business to give references and the manager’s financial records. By requiring us to give references, you are forcing people to have territories. What one of the nice things about this business is that we are not restricted to territories. If you know if someone in another state, then you can sponsor them in that state. If we would have to give references then we would have to have an established business in that area already. Also, if we move then we would have to try and find references for that area before we could get to work. By requiring a 7-day “cooling off” period you will destroy people’s potential. It would be inevitable that they will go talk with someone who knew someone who was related to someone who did not succeed. Thus they are talking with people who do not have the facts, have not seen the plan and how the business works. They are then making decisions based on what you are trying to avoid, not having enough or correct information. As to respect to the lawsuits, that would be only giving half the information also. People are so ready to blame someone else rather than taking responsibility for their actions or inactions. There are many frivolous lawsuits in today’s society in all aspects of life. People would see how many lawsuits, but would they look into what they were truly about and what the results of the lawsuit were? Or would they just say that “x” number of suits were file and so this must be a bad deal? What major corporation has not had law suits file against them for one reason or another? We realize that there needs to be regulations to help protect people from scams, but please don’t cripple legitimate business opportunities in the process. Most likely the scams will find a way around your rules and the true opportunities will try their best to follow your rules
