To Whom it may concern, I wanted to write to you to express the deep concern that I have concerning the proposed Business Opportunity Rule. This, if implemented would have disastrous effects upon countless of lives and buisnessess. I have been in the direct sales force for several years now and have been privileged to have a positive affect upon thousands of lives. I am now responsible for training over a thousand others who have turned their financial status around and are on a daily basis acheiving their goals of staying home with their families, setting their own pay scale for the effort that they invest, leaving jobs that were over stressful and under paid, to going on and creating a better life for themselves and also bettering our economy. The new regulations that would be put upon our industry if implemented would hinder our capability to make a difference in others lives. We so believe in our business and the positive affects it has upon those who choose to journey into it, that we have have a no cost starting program which eliminates the investment risk that any new buisness has. I don't know of any buisness that has that luxury. My husband and I now run a multi-million dollar business and are very succesfully teaching others to do the same. Many people in our organization have left their previous careers as nurses, engineers, customer reps, teachers, etc. to follow a dream of owning their own business where the only limits they have are their own. I feel that these rules would steal that dream away from countless who have taken that chance, who have left their previous careers and have succeeded in their new endeavor. The new requirements suggested would increase our costs of doing business and would eliminate the money needed to continue to grow our businesses and the economy. I have personally seen hundreds saved from bankruptcy with this wonderful opportunity and am sad to see it threatened. After being in this business for over seven years, rising to the top and helping others to do the same I truly believe that the new regulations will create a false sense of distrust from those who are considering to have their own business. This would be a shame for so many never to experience their dreams from a false sense creating fear. Please do not implement these rules as you will cripple an entire industry which is ethically thriving from the dreams of everyday people. Thank you, Charity Mentzer
