To whom it may concern: I would like to take a brief moment to let you know that I am strongly opposed to the Business Opportunity Rule, Matter No. R511993!!! I have been involved in Network Marketing since 1999 and have enjoyed the many benefits of owning my own business. I was only 18 when I began and have learned about owning my own business, the power of teamwork, the challenge of sales, and the discipline to work for myself. These skills have served invaluable in my life to date. I have been able to share these gifts with countless others who may have otherwise had no HOPE to lighten their debt load, provide college educations for their children, save for their families' future, and perhaps have a chance to enjoy life and go on vacation. Aren't all of the above mentioned ideals an integral part of the American Dream that is so lost and foreign to most people in our country today? Network Marketing is the most powerful way to bring products and services to people today, all the while paying generous commissions that go straight into America's economy. It should be with great hesitation that you even THINK about taking this power away from the average American. I understand that not all companies in the Direct Selling industry are created equal. However, there are many that comply with all rules and regulations and provide the average person with a way to take back their dignity and work from HOME...getting their children OUT of daycare, restoring their marriage, and creating a REAL income. I do believe that all of these things STRENGTHEN our country rather than destroy it. These are the things that true commerce are about. Look to your neighbors, friends, relatives and co-workers and ask yourself what ideals they are working for today? What positives can you come up with? Are you truly helping anyone get ahead? What about your family life? Is it what you thought it would be when you were young, or have relationships with your spouse, children, family and friends fallen apart? I can only hope that you are blessed enough to that some of the aforementioned ideals are true for you. The business of Network Marketing has the power to rebuild homes, families, and our economy. Our companies are here to help people through products and service and a business opportunity in which people can make a difference in others' lives. It is EXCITING to be a part of my organization and I have no doubt that others are excited as well about their lives. If you look at how much money is really earned in Network Marketing and pumped right back into our economy, that's reason enough. I would invite you to look in the corporate offices of Mary Kay, Shaklee, or Amway for instance....really talk to them...I'll bet you'll be pleasantly surprised with their mission to help people and families with the untmost integrity.
