I just wanted to let you guys know that I agree that there should be some sort of regulation governing Business Opportunities to protect people from fraudulent scams that look very similar to business opportunities like the Quixtar Business, a legitimate opportunity backed by a world class company. The Quixtar Business is all about giving people the opportunity to have choices in their life by helping buy back some of the time that they lose running the day-to-day rat race. This disclosure document proposal would not only be an infringement on the rights of the consumer, but mainly on the rights of the IBO. What really is gained by making the prospect wait seven days after recieving the disclosure document to register? More time to look at other opportunities and all kinds of internet blog websites that make all sorts of wild unsubstantiated claims against our servicing company or just against the private franchising business in general? The idea of properly disclosing the income possibilities makes sense for all direct selling companies across the board. Any company that claims to offer a legitimate business opportunity is going to promote the income possibilities honestly. If they don't honestly and consistently promote income possibilities, they should be shut down. Quixtar Corp. has always made it a point to conduct themselves honestly and ethically even through prior struggles with the FTC. By this criteria alone, phony opportunities should be easy to spot. Requirement by the government(FTC) to disclose financial records is a flat out invasion of privacy. There really isn't a nice way to say that because thats what it is, an invasion of privacy, which should not be allowed. A reasonable cancellation policy should be another prime indicator for the integrity of the servicing corporation. The Quixtar Corporation has always had a very reasonable cancellation policy. IBOs are allowed a six-month window to decide if the opportunity is for them or not. IBOs that cancel will recieve their registration money back and are not required to send back introductory products sent after registration. In Closing, this business opportunity has changed my life for the better. Its about so much more than the money because you team up with a group of people that you can go through life with. The education that I have received from the mentorship system that I'm affiliated with is absolutely priceless and helps me do everything that I do from my job to dealing with other people. Lets work together to make sure that the freedoms for future generations are still intact so that the freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail is still available.
