Dear FTC: I am excited with the idea of all private franchise and business opportunities coming under the same rules and guidelines. It will give all of us a level playing field .I like to see all state lotteries have similar rules. My wife and I have been IBOs since 1992. We have made money with Quixtar almost from the beginning. In addition our marrage has strenthen and our ability to work with people in our Quixtar business and other business has improved. Bottom line because of our involment with other IBOs, we have become better people in business, in our community and with friends and family. When we register people, because of our respect for the Quixtar business and the people we are sponsoring, we are very careful to explain the details. We do not want to create problems down the road it would hurt our business and the prospect. There is no need for people to wait 7 days. Most people want to get started now; If later they decide to leave the buiness we will refund their money. Maintaining the integrity of our busniess is more important than a few dollars. We indroduce our new prospects to the people in our organiztion upline and downline, but I would never give out address and phone numbers till we have gotten to know the people better. The prospect is checking out the Quitar opportunity they do not need address and phone numbers. Do a search on the internet for Quixtar and read some of the nonsense which is posted. Heck do a search on the FTC. Those are the same people starting law-suits and legal actions. We do not to need to confuse the prospects. You guys check us out and other organizations. Keep the good companies in business and elimate the crooks. We do not need to list past legal actions. Keep the income discloure simple, an averabe IBO or something to that effect, there are to many income levels from $100 a month to $10,000 a month and more, to break each one down. Also their are too many ways to get to that income level. I should not have to disclose personal financial information to anyone except the IRS. We let the prospect know what the income levels are. We show the prospect the different ways to make money. What they do is up to them what I have made has no bearing on what they will make. this is true in any profession. Try appling an income discloser rule in the Real Estate or Mortgage industrys Thanks for your efforts George Daniels
