My daughter, Katie, signed up for Mary Kay as an independent consulatant. I went with her to the "unit meetings" and read exstensively all the learning materials on the company website. They leave out too much pertinent information, such as turn over rates, business expenses, average earnings and appeal to women on an emotional basis. There whole strength in recruiting is done on a "hurry up and get your free stuff" momentum. After only a few weeks of my own research, after she signed her agreement, I realized the business was not as represented in the hype and glitz . Please give consumers a seven day waiting period, it is sorely needed! Thank you.
