I hope you'll keep in mind that email is the life blood of business today.I want you to find a way to get the thiefs that steal user and server resources and SPOOF or defraud email recipients. ANY EMAIL THAT IS NOT FROM A REAL PERSON, LISTED IN THE HEADER is a nuisance and should be stopped. However, sending email to known business contacts, even when not directly asked for, is NOT the problem. Attacking legitimate businesses that list an email address that is read by human beings and remove people who ask, should be left alone. You have limited resources.. use them to fight the faudulent use of the email system. Misleading subjects, "From" names, and bogus content to hide the sender's real intent is a rampent problem... and pure fraud. Let's work on that and stop annoying legitimate businesses.FIGHT FRAUD.. spoofing, and misleading (false) headers. Our exsiting laws allow for this, CAN SPAM is NOT the fix.
