I applaud your efforts to stop spam. Unfortunately, it not only affects email users; but, also, legitimate small businesses that use the internet as a legitimate way to support their customers and potential clients.Small business is the "life blood" of business in the US. With large companies down sizing and "off shoring", the success of small business is critical to the American economy. I am very concerned the proposed rules that you are considering to the CANSPAM act ie use of suppression lists, will severely hamper the ability of small business to effectively use the internet as a viable marketing tool. I ask that you not put rules in place that will penalize legitimate small businesses from using the internet as a reasonably inexpensive way to conduct business.Sincerely,Greg Bassett
