The Can the Spam Act, is with regret, worthless. It has done nothing to stop my email box being flooded with misleading subject lines like, "About your account" when the true subject is porn, penis enlargement, viagra etc. I get 200+ per day of these. These creeps will not respect "remove from list" requests. And the FTC seems to not be acting against them. The ONLY solutions are: 1. Sling em in jail. And make it as public as the Martha Stewart case. 2. Require other nations to assist with the prosecution of these prolific spammers. If they don't, block ALL email from these countries. Having said this, the porn merchants are truly the Grinches that stole email. I enjoy travel, dining out and SCUBA. I have no real objection to receiving emails about THESE subjects provided they are identified as such and the senders will really truly STOP if I ask them too.
