I am all for a National Do Not Email Registry. Very often when you click to opt-out there is a third party which handles it. I've tried to opt-out from many things and still have yet to be successful. I would like to see the opt-out link right on the home page of anywhere that you can opt-in!! Any mail I get should have a valid FROM address not some phoney address that you can't respond to and get a person on the other end to tell them to delete your email address. I had used a small ISP and had virtually no problem with spam. I signed up with verizon DSL and now I'm inundated with a hundred or more a day sometimes. It should be illegal for any place you sign up with to give out your email address or any other personal information to anyone else at all. I signed up for a game and now I get tons of spam asking me to join casino games etc. We're now getting spam with attachments which are viruses and also links which take you to somewhere that will initiate an attack on our computer. Also, I've been getting false emails saying they are from ebay or my ISP asking me to go and fill out personal information and passwords in order to keep my account valid. I know these are phoney but alot of people don't know how to tell. Please do something to help! Thank you, BW
