Identifying additional “aggravated violations” Some violations are aggravated by "Spoofing," using an e-mail friend's "from" address to make it appear that the advertisement or promotional message is from a friend. But the friend did not send the commercial message. The sender who used the Spoofing approach should be considered as originator of the commercial message and be subject to the rules and regulations. Also, such an act should carry an appropriate fine for being fraudulent.
