EVERYONE sending any sort of commercial e-mails should be required to register using their actual, complete address, name of their business and names of owners/operators to facilitate prosecution. The Act must have usable teeth. Punishment should be swift and severe in order to serve as a deterrent. The public should have access to a list of those prosecuted and the extent of their punishment. The list should be updated monthly at the very most so we can see that follow through is in fact taking place.
