I continue to receive CAN-SPAM email messages at a frequency equal to or greater than that experienced prior to the Act becoming effective. I strongly support implementation of a National Do Not Email Registry, and strictly defined requirement for "Subject Line Labeling" that clearly indentifies the main subject of the email, and an Email address that clearly identifies the sender. Each commercial Email should contain a clearly worded option for the recipient to decline to receive further Emails from the sender, and strong penalties be provided for those who persist, even when they change their company title or emain address.
