The registry is a fine idea, if it is enforced. Since the do not call registry, for the telephone, was implemented calls have been reduced by as much as 95% at my household. On the other hand, 95% of my email has been spam. It seems to increase by the day. I have received everything from loan solicitations to dating service. All of it unwanted! The danger in all of this spam is the possibility of worm infections. Therefore, spam messages are routinely deleted without opening. I resent having to go through the process. I feel, that unless I specifically request an advertisement or service, I should not be receiving it. I am 100% against commercial enterprises selling my address to anyone. I realize their potential for monetary gain but, in my mind, it is a violation of my privacy rights. Good luck and thanks for the opportunity to have some input on the subject. George Atkinson
