People have no more rights to send me unsolicited e-mail than I have to go to there personal abode and walk in unannounced. I now have to forbid my grandchildren from checking e-mail before I review it. Half of my e-mail is ads for penis enlargement, generic Viagra and porn sites. None of which I asked for, need or desire. Companies that send "spam" are going to argue that to close them down will put a lot of people out of work. Making bank robbery illegal probably put a lot of people out of work. I am sure that these people can find gainful employment in a more legal profession. I pay for an e-mail account every month, this is my personal property, and these people have no right to use it without my permission. To do so constitutes "Breaking and Entering" my home!
