Since the Act went into effect I am receiving many more spam ads, and even though there are opt-out provisions, I think that the senders merely use another address to send from or have several "identities" that they use to circumvent the Act. Many of the ads use the phony language that I have authorized the email to me by subscribing to another service or site, but that site is either unidentified (which it should be), or is a site I have never heard of or dealt with. There should be penalties for all violations, but perhaps the penalties should be more severe for the use of techniques such as those discussed above.
