I would heartily support the institution of a National Do Not E-mail Registry. The Do Not Call registry has proven so far to be a reliable solution to privacy intrusions, and the same thing needs to be in effect for electronic communications. I had 237 messages in my inbox today, 5 of which were from known senders. That pretty much makes the point clear!
