Do not create a National Do Not Email Registry. Get smart and more efficient and create a PLEASE SPAM ME REGISTRY. Those who want spam must sign up and only those who request spam will get spam. This OPT-IN will be more efficient than the useless opt-out. Spammers will never check a list to see if someone is on it that they can't mail to, but if there are people on it that WANT their spam, they will be more eager to comply and serve those who desire their services. STOP SILLY SIGNUP LISTS! They only encourage abuse for spammers who will harvest that list for accurate email addresses!!!!!!! Do something smart about this for a change.
