In reference to the effectiveness of the CAN-SPAM Act -- the amount of SPAM I receive now has doubled or tripled since January. I regularly receive 200 SPAM emails per day. On Monday's, my in-box is over the limit. My e-mail service allows me to block only 100 names and I hit that mark within a few days and still receive more. The new thing is to put an asterisk or a dash or an underscore in the middle of obscence words (example if the word were nipple - it would come as N*ipple) and therefore not get caught as SPAM and sent to my bulk mail box. It is terrible! Please find a way to stop this and punish these people. In reference to the Do-Not-Email Registry - I'm all for it - especially if we can impse HUGE fines for violators. Thank you.
