The thing that is most annoying recently is that most messages contain garbled and misleading subject information. For example, the words in the subject line contain characters that are not part of legitimate words so that spam filters will not block the message. Some examples are: using a 3 in place of an e, using a 1 in place of an i, double or tripple spacing between letters of a word, etc. Very few messages provide a way to unsubscribe to future mailings and many that provide an address to unsubscribe result in a return message that the address does not exist. I would like a way to block all mail from a particular business, for example a drug supplier, regrdless of who submits the message. Those messages that say that I can get any prescription drug without seeing a doctor or for which I do not need a prescription are examples of illegal drug dealing and should be delt with to the full extent of the law. This includes the person who sent the message and the company that is tying to push the illegal prescription drug. Another big offender are the messages that say that an accredited college will issue a Masters or PhD degree without the person neeeding to attend any classes or even take any type of testing procedure. The list could go on. I should be able to block all unsolicited messages only once and never receive another from the company whose services are being advertised regardless of who sends the message. It is not uncommon to get several of the same messages a day, each from a different sender. None of the messages identify the drug company who is providing the drugs. I hope the sending of unsolicited messages can be stopped once and for all. The Do Not Call lists are doing a commendable job of blocking unwanted phone calls. I should have the same success of blocking unsolicited messages by listing my email address at one place that would stop all unsolicited mail. All commercial email should have to be identified by words such as COMMERCIAL MAIL in the subject line so that spam filter programs can keep the mail out on my personal computer. There should be a way to forward any mail that does not comply with the conditions of the CAN-SPAM Act so that each and every offense will be acted upon and all violators prevented from using the internet to send other similar messages.
