I thought every commercial email was supposed to have a valid opt-out link, most of those I get are not valid, i.e. the web site is unknown or if to send an email it is returned as undeliverable for a variety of reasons. Most of the spams I get are for penis enlargement or various versions of Viagra. Since I am a woman this is outrageous. Some are scams for companies I do not have a relationship with such as banks, credit cards, ebay, etc. I get a lot purporting to be from earthlink, my ISP. 90% at least of my daily email is spam/scam. I wish there was a way to "return to sender". Any email trying to sell me something or a service is spam as I do not have money to buy anything, I do not own a home or vehicle, am retired. No elderly retired woman should have to put up with these people. I had high hopes for this new law but have noticed no change in the amount of spam/scam emails I receive every day. I do forward all of them to you so hopefully that is helpful for you to determine the severity of the problem. I do appreciate your efforts on the behalf of all of us out here. Thanks.
