The 'click' of a mouse is a simple and effective method of CHOOSING weather or not unwanted mail is opened or disgarded. If no interest is shown by the reciprient of a commercial email, and a 'Remove my name from your list' option is offered and CHOOSEN, then, in my mind, the path of liability is obvious. Free enterprise must reign supreme, and the freedom of CHOICE should set the standard and be respected, without exception. The KISS method should be the frontrunner in any regulation.
