A National Do Not Email Registry is a bad idea. The Do Not Call list is appropriate, because a telephone call in my house is always answered as it happens, while my email sits and waits until I have the time to read it. Limiting marketing avenues is unfair to internet marketers and is equal to a National Do Not Show Me Commercials During My Favorite Television Show Registry. It's just silly.
