Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, Those that send unsolicited "junk" email, or spam, are barely affected by your efforts. Instead, hard-working entrepreneurs and consumers are being affected drastically. I urge you to re-think these regulations. Just like everyone else, I would love to get rid of the thousands of pornographic/penis enlargement/sales messages that originate from email harvesters and 'spammers' - - but it is getting increasingly difficult to receive messages that I requested, or to send messages to my own clients in response to their inquiries - - yet, I am still bombarded by 'junk mail' (more than ever). Please do not put us all out of business with nothing left staring back at us but junk mail - so many people rely on email communication in daily business - - including those of us that telecommute and work from home to support families and handicapped children as the head-of-household and sole-provider. I would rather filter my own email, or deal with it myself, and still have full email priveledges as a respectable business with an opt-in contact list. Thank you, Lynn Terry Tennessee, USA
