Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 Sirs, As a small but International Relief Agency the need for freedom of mailing is essential to promote our works. Preventing us from telling the world about our works means we get less publicity. We depend on publicity to raise the funds and services from others to do our work. Recent terrorist activities only go to establish the need to publicise such works in order that injured or distressed parties can receive help, support and other services. Spam acts prevent this and as a result even more people have to suffer. As for business, then what better form of adverising a product or service (possibly essential) to the world. If you are at all interested in reducing un-employment, then why prevent the smaller businesses from promoting its products or services? I realise there are many that hate Spam, but there are far more of us that depend on UCE in order to survice. Many Thanks Rev Dr John Lock
