Dear Commisioners: I sincerely appreciate your efforts to protect all Americans with regard to unsolicited Bulk Mail, and especially unsolicited pornographic material. I am writing to ask that you please extend the time frame of April 20th so that you may receive more input from all parties concerned here, as the proposed act is vague and the idea of a "suppression list" gives me the feeling of having my rights and freedoms to decide what I do and do not want taken from me. While I do agree that responsibility falls on both the shoulders of the consumer and the publishers, I also do not want to have a blanket decision made for me as to what I do and do not wish to have available to me. Please, I strongly urge you to take more time to get more input from all parties concerned and to get much more specific in regards to the responsibilities of the publishers and the rights of the consumer. I do like, and I think you will find many Americans agree, the idea of a "suppression list" amd that being placed on a "Suppression List" reeks of REpression! Thank you for your efforts to protect consumer privacy. Please also consider the rights of the Publishers (and potential Publishers - I am disabled and have considered this as a way to restart a career !) to give their consumers a choice and to make the choice themselves as to what advertisers and sponsorships best suit their targeted market. Respectfully, Ivy Spencer South Carolina, United States of America
