Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, You are doing a lot of harm to both consumers and businesses. Forcing the use of "suppression lists" will damage many legitimate valuable documents available on the net. Most hurt will be those publishers who require permission from the consumer prior to sending them information they seek, which is a valid form of initiating a relationship, wheather commercial or otherwise. Consumers will also be hurt, because of the problem of properly knowing their intent when they opted out from a list. Also, these "suppression lists" could be used by spammers. I think your initiative is a opposed to Constitutional Rights and ultimatelly to the freedom of the Us and the rest of the world. Respectfully, Salvador Calderon Mexico DF Mexico
