The suppression list idea is bad, completely unworkable, and will severely handicap legitimate buisnesses. Here is a discussion of the problems with this idea from one of the top thinkers on the Net: http://www.talkbiz.net/ramblings/weblog.php Over all, CAN-SPAM offers punishment to rather minor instances of spam as committed by US citizens..when the VAST MAJORITY of spam comes from severs over seas, pornography, worms (some that send spam), and viruses. These cause 99% of the unwanted traffic on the Net and NONE of it is seriously addresses by CAN-SPAM. This legislation is a complete failure.
