Dear Sirs: While I support your efforts to reduce or illiminate unwanted email, it seems you are in danger of going too far - throwing the baby out with the bath water. I offer a newsletter (opt-in only) to my subscribers. I occasionally include offers from companies with quality, reputable products that are of value to my customers. I cannot reasonably be held accountable for knowing if my subscribers may have decided they don't want to hear about a product mentioned in my newsletter. I can only agree to remove them from my email list if they no longer wish to receive my newsletter. The difference is considerable, and will impact my business success significantly. Please be careful when you interpret the laws you have just passed. Thank you.
