To the commissioners, I know very well how irritating and time consuming unsolicitated email is and I am glad to see some movement to curtail it. However putting the burden of maintaining and double checking suppression lists upon legitimate merchants and publishers may drive many tax paying businesses who support the economy out of business. This would only result in leaving more space in my and others email inboxes for the illegitimate spammers to wreck havoc to a great communication system. Since much of this comes from outside the USA we give them a double win over our free enterprise system. This is one form of terrorism and we need not to give in to it, while at the same time weakening our economy. Thank you in advance for consideration of ALL USA citizens and international commerce. Sincerely, Mary Richardson Texas, USA
