Sir: I am not a very good letter writer but I have a strong belief on this subject. My father and I have a small internet mall. I believe our politicians and regulators in a sincere desire to protect us are slowly eroding our freedoms. Regulations such as this have the potential for great harm to business large and small, yet I doubt that it will improve the situation. International groups will continue to opperate outside the law while an American firms must comply with difficult rules and face severe penalties. I believe what made America great was the freedom it's people had. The freedom to build and create and communicate not rules to keep us in check. In closing I am a Ronald Reagan Republican who believes,as he did, in less government intrusion .I truly hope that George W. Bush's Republican administration holds this tenet and doesn't implement this act.
