Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, As a consumer on the internet. I am glad there are things being done about spam. The efforts of both government and Internet providers is to be applauded. i do have a problem with the supression list idea . As i am on severl lists . For E-mail i chose to recieve . Many of these have content and material from the same marketers. The choice to stop recieving e-mail from one sender should not cause me to have to forgo recieving it from all. There are just times i subscribe to to many lists . Spam Is damagingto internet commerce and a lot needs to be done about it . But its those who are unethical and immoral who abuse it . Those same people will find ways to work around the laws . A suprrsion list will cripple the abilities of those who re trying to follow the law . To do business on the web . This will hurt merican businesses . Large and small. Putting many out of business. While the pporn peddlers sit in China and russia and spam every name on any supression lists they can get ahold of . just imagine what these unethical and immoral persons will do with names they know are valid and active . Thank you Kenneth ONeill
