I am so pleased to hear that the commissioner is looking into wet cleaning care label issues. As a wet cleaner, we need that label put on all dry clean only garments because dry clean only garments are cleaned in wet cleaning methods well. We are cleaning all dry clean only labeled garments using the wet cleaning system, so I would think that it is only fair for consumers to know that their garment is being cleaned with the wet cleaning method. Since environment agencies such as The Air Resource Board and EPA is doing away with PERC dry cleaning method and supporting wet cleaning .if we don't have a wet clean only label, consumers may never know their clothes have an option of cleaning it in wet cleaning system for a cleaner and safer environment and saving energy by using less of it(wet cleaning uses less energy. Thank you for helping with wet cleaning labels.
