The requirement that garments sold in the USA must have an approved method for cleaning on a label arrached to the garment has been a great tool in holding designers, manufacturers, and retailers accountable for an implied warranty that a garment will render an appropriate amount of service to that garment's purchaser. It is not perfect, but one can only imaging the nightmare care issues a person might have if those aprties were not required to provide that info, and more important, maker a garment that can be cleaned. I believe English should be sufficient. a person doing business in the US or buying garments in the US has a responsibility to do their due diligence in the country's language. Further, labels that specify "Spot Clean" should be disallowed.
