The new Rule tells manufacturers to use the dry cleaning symbols from the ASTM's 2007 guidelines, which do not allow care instructions for any solvent except perc and hydrocarbon.FTC has to the update the ASTM's guidelines to include GreenEarth which is a solvent in use for over 10 years and is greener than perc and hydrocarbon.
