Submission Text
As part of the modification process, we suggest that companies be able to get electronic signatures (on the web) from parents as to parental consent. Electronic signatures (such as from echosign.com) are 100% legal under the Federal E-SIGN Act, and deemed equivalent to written signatures under the Act. As a key part of the Act is protection of minors on the web, enabling the requisite signatures on the web is a natural extension and should dramatically improve accountability and traceability.
