To whom it may concern:
I am writing to express concern about online/internet privacy for children. My understanding is that the law protecting children's privacy is 10 years old and needs to be updated. Websites and companies should not be allowed to target children, especially for advertising purposes.
I propose that the reach of corporations and websites be limited for children, to ensure that their parents' permission is obtained when collecting any data, including IP address, physical location, usernames & screen names, and photographs & videos.
Please help make sure our kids can stay safe on the internet and that the laws help support parents who don't want corporations to be able to target their children.
