As a parent of five grown children and grandmother of a toddler, I urge the FTC to update the COPPA rule to better protect children from online advertising. Parents should be able to have control over what their children see on the internet. I have also worked in a preschool for 17 years, and can see what influence the media has on young children's desires and attitudes. Please do what is best for children - their future is important to all of us! Mrs. Patricia Williams
