I have to object to charging a fee to look at my personal credit report. It is bad enough that I am unable to even look at my credit report when applying for loans. Now I am going to have to pay to even view my credit report? This is not right. I have strong objections to this. I now pull my credit once a year. After being subject to fraud and not noticing it for 3 years. I had over $9,000 that was on my credit fraudulantly after graduating from college. three credit cards for over 3,000 a piece plus a local store card. That was not mine! I went 5 years without any chance of any credit due to a roommate fraudulantly using my credit. Now I am told that I may possibly have to pay to view my credit to verify that it doesn't happen again? I could understand if I pulled my credit every month but I only pull it once a year. What about the people that have no idea that they are fraud victims, they only find out when like myself you apply for that mortgage or car loan. Please veto this possibility. Let us continue to view our credit reports for free once a year or even when we are denied credit. I would be very upset if I had not been able to view mine after being denied credit. If I had to pay I would probobly not have even bothered. Please reconsider. Thank you, Lisa M Foley
