I feel strongly it should be FREE. If a person gets turned down for credit and then takes the time and effort to request a copy of their credit report should receive all of the information absolutely FREE. If that person is responsible and proceeds to start cleaning up there credit they will have to pay for additional reports and their score. One Free report is not going to cause any financial hardships on any of the reporting agencies. Since they are allowed to sell the names they are more than making up for any expense they will have by giving one COMPLETE report with ALL the information at NO Expense to the consumer.
