Arbitration can be an effective method of getting parties together to resolve a debt collection dispute. The forum must be one of complete neutrality and good reputation. The forum must be extremely mindfull of the due process rights of all parties and protect them in the rules applied to the dispute. This could generate an environment that would provide a motivation to the parties to appear and to actually participate in the process of resolution. This concept can succeed in an environment such as we strive to provide at the non-profit Better Business BUREAU Of cHICAGO. nON-PROFIT and an organization dedicated to ethical dealing and regognized for it can make this work.
